This tool allows you to transpose in semitones between keys on the Camelot Wheel (Circle of Fifths) made popular by Mixed In Key.

Use A and B to switch modes

Mode 1

Use the arrow keys to set your start key and the amount of semitones you want to transpose by, the tool will automatically generate the transposed key for you. When transposing for DJ sets it is usually not recommended to transpose more than 2 semitones, but the tool allows you to transpose up and down a full octave (12 semitones + / -).

Mode 2

Use the arrow keys to set key 1  (start key) and key 2 (end key), the tool will then show you how many semitones you need to shift (either + / -) to reach the end key. This tool is useful for music producers who organise their samples by numbers/letters and need to transpose a sample to fit the key of their project.
